Washer / Rick Rude / All Feels / Jentri Jollimore

  • Brewbakers 48 Emerald St Keene, NH, 03431 United States (map)

"East Coast duo Washer is comprised of Mike Quigley (guitar/bass/vocals) and Kieran McShane (drums). Since forming in the late months of 2013, the duo have become a staple of the local DIY scene, another hard working band playing countless shows throughout the US. Washer have garnered a strong reputation in that time thanks to the band’s scrappy energy and infectious indie leaning garage punk anthems. Impossibly catchy and deceptively complex, Washer’s songwriting stays with you, burrowing deep into the recesses of your mind as the band aim to “do a lot with a little”. Punk rock minimalism at its finest."

Out of speakers came noise and out of noise came RICK RUDE. A four-membered creature whose tattered robe, four-string guitar, and sand-filled shoes are surrounded by a haze of sweet smoke and empty beer cans, thrashes about with a charismatic enthusiasm matched only by its lethargic demeanor, speaking fluently in the cryptic languages of dreams, love, and ennui. It inhabits a dark cave on the mountainside of truth, carefully furnished with dismantled electronics, books on meditation, and warped records of Guided By Voices, Built to Spill, and Cheap Trick. A nocturnal creature, Rick Rude feasts on mystical fungi, boredom, mushy guitar riffs, and the delicacy of the human soul.

Jentri Jollimore is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Her raw, bluesy vocals and skill on guitar have garnered comparisons to Bonnie Raitt, Chrissie Hynde, and Joni Mitchell. She has played solo in countless venues in her 20+ years of performing, including The Bitter End and CBGB’s in New York City. She has been in several bands including New Hampshire’s own Moving Pictures. Most recently she has been scoring short horror films in Los Angeles, as well as making your coffee here at Brewbaker’s. Her latest EP “If You Were Me” was released spring 2021.

Built on loops, a love for indie-pop, and frenetic moodiness, All Feels makes All Kinds of noise for All Emotions. Born out of guitarist/vocalist, Candace Clement’s (Footings/ex-Bunny’s A Swine), lockdown-era noodling, the full band line-up brings texture and energy to the home-brewed bedroom pop tunes. Joined by guitarist Josh Levy (Outro), bassist Will Meyer (Stoner Will & the Narks / Bucket) and drummer Jon Shina (ICICI / Jon Shina), All Feels makes music for fans of 90s indie and 2000s vinyl.

Doors are at 7 and music will start at 730! Any seating is first come first served, but also prioritized for folks that can't stand throughout the show.
