European and American Jazz of the 1930’s provided American and European audiences with some of the most lyrical music in history. A major contributor to the music was Django Reinhardt, considered by many to be the most influential guitarist in jazz. Silverback Swing celebrates Django’s music, popularly known as Gypsy Jazz, playing Django’s compositions and other songs from the era. Expect to hear the familiar and the obscure, with expressive vocals, blazing guitar solos and a melodious accordion.
