My Neighbor George is an exciting new Worcester-based band formed out of a collective desire for musical community at Clark University. The eclectic group is comprised of college students and recent grads who draw their influences from a wide range of artists, tying their sound together through strong grooves, striking vocal harmonies, and sleek instrumental solos. MNG began gigging around the city of Worcester in the fall of 2022, playing their versions of RnB, Rock, and Soul songs both old and new. Although they have primarily played covers, they are now focused on writing original material and recording their debut EP. Winners of the 2023 Worcester Music Awards' "Best Jazz Act" category, Moshi is a four-piece R&B fusion outfit based in Worcester, Massachusetts. Their original music spans from vintage, 70s-inspired soul ballads to upbeat dance tracks drawing from jazz, rock, reggae, and hip- hop. The band is inspired by the likes of D'Angelo, Hiatus Kaiyote, Yussef Dayes, and many of the funk and disco giants of decades past. A Moshi show invites all to dance, celebrate, and embrace the duality of love and heartbreak. The band has played dozens of shows across Massachusetts and the rest of New England, ranging from small clubs and bars to city arts festivals and private events. The lead singles for the group's upcoming debut album, "Marathon", were recently released and can be found on all major streaming platforms.
