JIM MURPHY has been playing the blues since there were two different Friendly’s and a Sun Foods in west Keene. He has championed the sound and run Blues Nights at literally dozens of venues and rooms, spread out across the Monadnock Region, even bringing his son Jeff into the mix as a teenager. Jim uses the blues to communicate love and art, and to encourage and foster new generations through collective community building with music.

JJ Slater is a born-and-raised New Englander with a song for every season. His folk-influenced, rootsy-but-spacey sound tells stories and paints pictures that are equally compelling in a live jam as it is through headphones.

His next EP is due out this Summer, at which time he will go into the studio to record a full length album written in the high desert of Taos New Mexico with the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation.
