Max Wareham is a banjo player and composer based in Boston, MA. Wareham’s commitment to early innovators of the instrument shines on “Dagommit!”, his forthcoming record of soulful original songs, highlighted by the hard-driving chemistry of Nashville’s preeminent bluegrass stars. Max tours nationally with the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, with whom he has performed at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Ryman Auditorium, Merlefest, Green Mountain Bluegrass Festival, IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards, and many more. He also tours his own band, Max Wareham & the National Bluegrass Team, featuring international mandolin prodigy Jean Baptiste Cardineau, Sufi-poet-turned-guitar-flatpicker Ali Telmesani, and Boston bass stalwart Mike Siegel. Max is also the author of Rudy Lyle: The Unsung Hero of the Five-String Banjo.
Mr. Bill is a local bluegrass band based out of Keene, New Hampshire. They play a mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music along with original music and grassification of some familiar favorites from the 60s and 70s. The band consists of Steve “Zuber”Armstrong on bass, Matt Atkinson on guitar and vocals, John Meehan on mandolin and vocals, and Rich Sullivan on five string banjo.
