Maine-based singer/songwriter Duncan Pelletier has been making music for over two decades in various capacities. As a solo artist, studio musician, and live theater composer, Pelletier tactfully weaves together elements of soft rock, blue-eyed soul, folk, and traditional pop, resulting in a sound that benefits from influence while feeling uniquely his own.
After the release of his debut solo album Gone Soon, Pelletier is primed to release his second solo album Those Last Days via Trailing Twelve Records. Pelletier examines themes of memory, mortality, and regret while continuing to wear his heart on his sleeve. Those Last Days manages to explore the heaviness of apocalyptic premonition while maintaining a sense of levity through tongue-in-cheek humor. Pelletier delivers feel-good hits wrapped in a doomsday paper, giving the audience a cathartic release while maintaining an easygoing sonic atmosphere.
Now residing in Brooklyn, Berklee College of Music graduate Nan Macmillan was first raised by the sea in Massachusetts, then spent her high school years in the hills of Southern California, before studying poetry in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The indie-folk-pop artist writes about the underlying threads connecting these chapters of her life. On her debut full-length album, From Both Eyes, Macmillan explores the dark and hopeful corners of her heart and mind with lyrical precision and intricate sonic landscapes. Co-produced by Hiss Golden Messenger's Alex Bingham, her music offers a gentle and fierce combination of sadness and hope, reverie and reality, feeling resistant to time’s passing and finding the rhythm of it all anyway.
Evan Dibbs is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Brooklyn, NY. His latest release "World Before Us" is an acutely personal perspective of folk and Americana music, often re-contextualizing traditional song forms and instrumentation in refreshing, unexpected turns.
